Is a Oral-B ProfessionalCare SmartSeries 5000 electric toothbrush worth the money?

I am seriously considering buying an electric toothbrush. I’ve heard that they clean much better and are much better for your teeth. Going back and forth between Oral-B and Sonicare, I’m leaning toward this one. On Amazon, this one is only $7 more than the 4000. Please tell me your thoughts/opinions on electric toothbrushes in general, these specific ones, and your experience. I’m all ears before I go spend $110 on a toothbrush. But I will, if it will last a long time and help my teeth.

Buy it! Your teeth not only feel so much cleaner when you use a GOOD electric toothbrush but your dentist will notice too! My dentist actually let me skip my yearly cleaning because I didn’t need it after using the electric toothbrush. I also have an Oral B, older model, and it still works great!
